New Street showing support for Children in Need

A mural has been installed in New Street station, to commemorate children in need this year.

It depicts the church and is made up of patient’s faces that have passed away.

One employee who works in New Street station, remaining anonymous, said: “The mural is a lovely idea, these children’s memories will last with this.

“Only problem, putting it on the floor means people are constantly walking over it, getting it dirty.”

The mural is set to stay on New Street station floor til the end of the year, in an effort to raise money for the cause.
